REAL ID

REAL ID Information

There is a new form of identification you will need to present when traveling domestically. The new identification will require residents to present a REAL ID-compliant document to fly in the U.S. and enter certain federal facilities under federal law. You can get a REAL ID-compliant driver's license or state ID from the Michigan Secretary of State’s Office. Starting Febuary 1st, 2026, if you do not have a REAL ID-compliant ID then you will be charged $45 to verify your ID through the TSA ConfirmID.

What Travelers are Saying!

There is a lot to like about FNT. The location, the ease of entry/exit. Few passengers. It is just low stress, low pressure. It is obviously small, but it does not pretend to be anything other than what it is: a nice, regional airport. It works and it's easy.
