Real ID Information

There is a new form of identification you will need to present when traveling domestically. The new identification will require residents to present a Real ID-compliant document to fly in the U.S. and enter certain federal facilities under federal law. You can get a Real ID-compliant driver's license or state ID from the Michigan Secretary of State’s Office.

As of February 1st, 2026, if you don't have a valid REAL ID-compliant ID then you will be charged $45 to verify your ID with the TSA ConfirmID.

What Travelers are Saying!

Once a tiny airport Bishop is now one of the most convenient ways to travel. Easy parking, great location, and small enough to get through easily. Lots of travel destinations to accommodate every bucket list item you might have! I'll always chose to fly from Flint's Bishop airport!
